Description

2012 Merlot

Who said Merlot isn’t a great wine? This wine is absolutely fantastic! Handpicked fruit, handcrafted small lot production,  aged in French and American Oak barrels for 18 months. As you inhale the  warm rich depth of aromas you can’t help but dive in for a taste. Luscious warm layers of deep plums, dark cherries, currants and raspberries, with subtle hints of anise, eucalyptus , vanilla and spice fill your entire mouth. Full-bodied, smooth, and elegant with enough tannin structure to age well over the next 10 years. It still has a big full mouth feel with rich, dynamic fruit flavors, balanced with oak flavors and nicely structured. A treat for sure!
